Aiswarya Murali
Aiswarya Murali is a lawyer and a researcher with over 3 years of experience as a litigating lawyer, judicial clerk and legal researcher. After graduating from National Law University Jodhpur in 2019, she practised law at the Supreme Court of India as well as across various High Courts in India, and Trial Courts of Delhi. Her practice areas focused on constitutional law, extradition laws, criminal laws, civil laws, human rights laws, service law and arbitration law. She worked as a judicial clerk-cum-research assistant with a Supreme Court judge for 1 year and 7 months. Currently, she is working as a research associate and teaching assistant to Mr. Abhayraj Naik. Her areas of research include climate justice, justice education, systemic transformation, building urban resilience to climate change and just energy transition. She is one of the core members of the Initiative for Climate Action. She has published in various international journals and blogs on diverse areas of law including arbitration law, human rights and animal rights law. She is a strong proponent of inter-species egalitarianism and veganism. During her free time, she likes to cook, travel and paint.
